Dr. Barbara Smith is a Research Scientist at the Centre for Agroecology, Water and Resilience of Coventry University, UK. Her interests include management of ecosystem service provision with a focus on pollination, and the impact of agricultural intensification on wild plants and insects. Dr. Eric Lichtfouse is a Research Scientist at the Centre for Education and Research in Environmental Geosciences, Aix en Provence, France. His interests include soil carbon sequestration and scientific editing.
