Her research interests include literacy development and intervention. She is co-author of the book</span><span>Preparing Children for Reading Success: Hands-On Activities for Librarians, Educators, and Caregivers</span><span>.</span></p><p><span>Dr. Cheryl C. Durwin</span><span> is professor of psychology and co-director of the</span><span>R</span><span>eading</span><span>E</span><span>valuation</span><span>A</span><span>nd</span><span>D</span><span>evelopment of</span><span>S</span><span>kills (R.E.A.D.S.) laboratory at Southern Connecticut State University.
