    • Is hell real? Can a loving God send someone to hell? Who is going to heaven and hell? What did Jesus say about the Broad Road? Throughout time, every person who has ever lived has had to deal with the same question: what is going to happen to me when I die? Every civilization that ever existed has some kind of belief system about an afterlife. Unfortunately, many Christian churches today have totally abandoned what is clearly taught in the Bible. We spend much time and treasure (which Jesus commands us to do) on the earthly needs of others, but we are too timid to even mention that they are doomed for eternity if they reject Christ. Charles Spurgeon said, If sinners will be damned, at least let them leap to hell over our bodies: and if they will perish, let them perish with our arms about their knees, imploring them to stay. This book uses allegory to depict a traveler as he converses with people as they journey on the Broad Road, unsuspecting as to where they are headed. If youre going to die someday or know someone who will, you should read The Broad Road. A good piece of work that needs to be heard by todays church. Timothy Beougher, associate dean, Billy Graham School of Evangelism at Southern Baptist Seminary.
