    • Martin Engel studierte Kunstgeschichte, Geschichte und Philosophie an der FU Berlin. Seit 2004 ist er am Institut für Kunstgeschichte der Universität Wien als Leiter der Fotosammlung, des Digitalen Bildarchivs und diverser Originalsammlungen tätig. Seine Schwerpunkte in Forschung und Lehre liegen derzeit bei der Skulptur und Architektur des 19. und frühen 20. Jahrhunderts.
