- After graduating from the University of Leeds, Jane spent many years in the textile industry working on projects as diverse as developing car airbags to fashion sportswear for the high street. She is currently a Senior Lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University teaching textile technology with special research interests in smart textiles.
