It is a long cherished goal to power our world with instant sunlights. Photovoltaic devices made it possible. Cheap materials and thin film technologies will make photovoltaic device more efficinet and affordable. Great interests in CZTS based films are rising due to their abundant compositions and promising properties for a sunlight absorber. We explore their formation mechanisms, achieve high quality films and pursue better device performances.

- Xuesong Yin earned his PHD in Materials Science and Engineering from National University of Singapore in 2014. He is currently working as a research fellow in the same university. His research interests include thin film solar cells, transparent conductive coatings and electric energy storage devices (Lithium battery and supercapacitor).
