At this point, one of the most important questions is How to create (utilize) effective (successful) e-Government services for public? In this book, the specific topics to be discussed including a review of e-Government, e-Government development in Turkey in line with other countries, philosophy of community policing, and technology-use in community policing. As one of the most popular e-Government services in Turkey, online passport application of the Ankara Police Department have been selected to analyse in terms of usability. Although the online passport application is one of the most well known e-Government services and has been in use since 2001, some major, moderate and minor critical level issues have been identified in the research.
